COURSE

The course is a relatively flat mile around Elmhurst University.  Starting on Elm Park Ave, a long, gentle downhill leads to the loud and exciting “Chicane”, a fan-packed sweeping section before turning north on Grace St.  Grace Street features neighborhood parties and the halfway clock.  A right on to Alexander is a fast, pancake-flat section past Elmhurst University stadium.  The final turn up a gentle rise on Prospect will surely test the legs before the runners kick to the flat finish.  The finish is right in front of the largest crowds at the event’s epicenter, the Wilder Mansion Beer Garden and finish line arena.

Logistics

Entrants should be able to complete a mile in 13 minutes or less, as we have a Family Fun Ride immediately following The Elmhurst Twilight Mile.
